Slowly I sink into the deep
Leaving all of my troubles behind.
The bubbles dance above
Ascending back to the top
While I fall deeper.
Every ripple and every bubble
Is a crease in the timeless space my body has joined.
The light fades
And I become a shroud in the dark.
A shadowed form
Sinking slowly to places Man will never see
To places I myself cannot see.
When the song ends I again am on the surface
Home to a reality I can see and feel
But nowhere near as real as the deep.
What lurks beyond that haunting blue melody?
We sink into an aquatic abyss
Surrounded by forgotten beauty
And ignored by the life above it.
This symphony of solitude hid
